All About Direct Dripping
However, relatively recently, the tank technology has progressed to the point where direct dripping is basically obsolete. It’s still a completely valid way to vape, but due to the fact that it’s relatively inconvenient and the new tanks give just about the same quality of vapor, I will no longer be recommending it for beginners.
The old tanks had to wick the liquid from the tank upward into the atomizer, which usually resulted in a burnt taste and poor vapor. The new tanks have the wick and atomizer in the bottom of the tank, meaning the wick is always saturated, leading to excellent vapor production and no burnt taste. Add the convenience of not having to drip liquid every ten or so drags and you’ll understand why I almost never direct drip anymore.
If you are still interested in direct dripping, you can purchase a kit for an unbeatable price here: Direct Dripper’s Kit.
It is still the most convenient way to try new flavors of e-liquid, but if you know what liquids you like, a newer tank system is preferable, in my opinion. You can purchase those here: E-Cig Supplies.
